The Alma Inn is a historic coaching inn located on the Lancashire-Yorkshire border. Overlooking beautiful moorland scenery, it’s stunning interior with stone floors, original beams and roaring fires makes it the perfect setting for receptions, blessings and civil ceremonies.
Whether you’re after a more intimate event or a slightly grander affair, The Alma Inn can accommodate up to 120 guests during the day, with 200 guests in the evening.
We love creating a day that’s as individual as you are, which tells your story and embraces every guest. With a bespoke approach, our job is to ensure your day is truly unforgettable, from ‘I do’ to the bridal suite.

We are offering up to 30 % off wedding packages for the remaining dates of 2025, up to and including December 13th.
The offer is for new enquiries only, with existing bookings not eligible for transfer, you could save up to £2,450, with dates secured once a deposit has been made.
Three packages are available, the Prestige from May to September currently costs £9,950, dropping to £8,950 between October and April and further at the discount price of £7,500.
The Elegance package for the May to September dates is priced at £6,995 or £5,995 from October to April, but the discount price brings it down to £4,995.
And the Classic deal from May to September starts at £5,500, down to £4,500 fom October to April and dropping to £3,740 with the 30 % off.

WEDDING FAYRE
The Alma Inn is also holding a Wedding Fayre on Thursday, April 3rd from 5-30 p.m. until 9 p.m, with canapés served. The event is designed to give couples a chance to meet the team and the inn’s trusted suppliers, to run through inspirational ideas with the experts.

We take pride in our food here at The Alma, we use fantastic local produce and cook everything in house, fresh for your special day. The menus contain dishes that we know to work well for celebrations, and should offer something for everyone.
