Hotel Bookings

CHECK IN / EARLY ARRIVAL POLICY

Check-in is from 3pm. You may request an early check in, subject to availability we will try to accommodate your request, however please note it is not guaranteed unless addition fee is paid

CHECK OUT / LATE DEPARTURE POLICY

Check-out time is 11 am. If you wish to store your luggage at reception until you leave the hotel you may do so by informing the reception staff. If you require a late departure please let reception know a day prior, charges may apply.

FLEXIBLE RATE

Prepayment Policy

A Credit Card is required to guarantee the reservation. No charges will be debited in advance except in the event of non- arrival or late cancellation. In either event the amount of your first night’s accommodation will be charged to your Credit Card.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival by 12.00 noon.

GROUP BOOKINGS (9 ROOMS OR MORE)

Prepayment Policy

A Credit Card is required to guarantee the reservation. No charges will be debited in advance except in the event of non- arrival or late cancellation

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the reservation or part of the reservation can be made free of charge up until 4 weeks prior to the first day of arrival.

Any changes or cancellations made within 4 weeks and up until 12pm 7 days prior to the first day of arrival will be charged at 50% of the total cancelled accommodation value.

Any other changes or cancellations made within 7 days prior to arrival date will be charged full reservation value for the entire stay.

In case of no-show – if a guest does not show up for the hotel room as per the reservation – this will be charged for full reservation value for the entire stay.

It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that everyone involved in the reservation is aware of above mentioned cancellation policy.

Definition ”Reservation Value” – The total amount for the entire reservation, including conference rooms, hotel rooms, meals, any additional equipment or services ordered.

PRE-PAID RATE

Prepayment and Cancellation Policy

A credit or debit card is required to charge full pre-payment at the time of booking. Booking can be transferred to another date once free of charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival, after this point the full deposit will be forfeited. Subsequent transfers will be charged at £10.

RELOCATION POLICY

Oakman Inns and Restaurants operate a relocation policy. If a room is unavailable for a guest upon arrival, except for events beyond our reasonable control, then we agree to either:

Provide a room, and subject to availability any equivalent extras which have been pre-booked, at another local hotel. Pay the reasonable cost of transport to the alternative hotel or any applicable parking charges.

At the guests request, or if in our opinion suitable alternative accommodation is not available, cancel your booking and refund you any money you have paid in advance for the unavailable room(s), including related food & beverage extras. All other extras are non-refundable.

Events, acts, omissions or accidents which happens beyond our reasonable control include, but are not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, other natural disasters, acts of terrorism, partial or full cancellation or delay of major public event, fire or interruptions to electric power, gas or water.

Table Bookings

BAR AND RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS

Table numbers and group bookings are currently being managed in line with government guidelines. Please visit our website for more information on our Covid19 Measures. If your booking does not comply with the regulations, we may not be able to accommodate your reservation. Please note, tables will only be held for 15 minutes after the reservation time. If you do not arrive, and make yourself known to the hostess, within this 15 minute period, your table may be given to another waiting guest. If you are running late, please do call ahead and let us know so that we do not give your table away.

AL FRESCO DINING

Please note, whilst we will do our best to accommodate your booking, if the weather does not permit dining outside, we will not be able to guarantee a table inside. If you would like to check for availability in the main restaurant, please get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help. Festive Bookings

FESTIVE MENU

  1. A deposit of £10 per person is required to secure the booking when dining from our Festive menu.
  2. All deposits will be redeemed against the final cost of your bill.
  3. All deposits will be forfeited if the reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the booking date.
  4. A deposit of £10 per person will be forfeited if a guest is a no-show.
  5. Guest numbers can be amended within reason up to 8 hours before the booking arrival time with no loss of deposit, after this time £10 deposit per person will be forfeited if numbers are reduced.
  6. Please note no booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received. We can hold your enquiry for 7 days, after which it will be automatically released.
  7. A pre-order will be required and must be completed no later than 7 days prior to the booking date. Please note we cannot guarantee to accommodate your pre-order requirements if this deadline is not adhered to.
  8. Menus have been designed for the whole party to enjoy – all members of the party will need to dine from the same menu chosen.
  9. All prices are inclusive of VAT. 
  10. We do not guarantee areas or specific table requests, however, we shall endeavour to accommodate requests where possible.
  11. Payment of your deposit confirms you have read and accepted the terms and conditions of booking.
  12. Management reserves the right to change the terms and conditions

CHRISTMAS DAY

  1. A deposit payment is required of £10 per person, to secure your booking for Christmas Day. The remaining balance will need to be paid in full by October 31st 2021. At the time of enquiry, please let us know how many adults and children are in your group.
  2. All deposits are non-refundable. 
  3. All Christmas Day bookings will be allocated a table for 2.5 hours.
  4. A pre-order will be required and must be completed by Sunday 31st October 2021. Please note we cannot guarantee to accommodate your pre-order requirements if this deadline is not adhered to.
  5. All prices are inclusive of VAT. 
  6. We do not guarantee areas, or specific table requests, however, we shall endeavour to accommodate such requests where possible.
  7. Payment of your deposit confirms you have read and accepted the terms and conditions of booking.
  8. Management reserves the right to change the terms and conditions.

EARLY BIRD CHRISTMAS BOOKING OFFER – £50 VOUCHER

For any bookings on the Festive Menu for 10 or more guests before October 31st 2021, the lead booker will receive a £50 voucher to spend in January/February 2022. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The booking is for guests dining on the festive menu between Wednesday 24th November 2021 and Thursday 23rd December 2021.
  2. The offer is for a complimentary voucher for the value of £50 for the lead booker of the party.
  3. The offer is only valid for bookings of 10 or more people dining from the three-course festive menu.
  4. Only valid for those bookings where the deposit is paid by Sunday 31st October 2021
  5. One voucher per booking will be issued to the lead booker of the party.
  6. The voucher will be valid to spend between Saturday 1st January 2022 and Monday 28th February 2022. The voucher cannot be redeemed on Monday 14th February 2022.
  7. This voucher may be used at any Oakman Group as part or full payment for food and drinks, or as part payment for an Oakman Group hotel stay. 
  8. No change or refund will be given, but the balance may be used for future purchases before Monday 28th February 2022.
  9. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  10. The offer is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  11. Responsible sale of alcohol applies.
  12. Manager’s decision is final.
  13. Booking in advance is recommended.

Enjoy a complimentary drinks party for bookings of 20 or more guests before Thursday 9th December 2021

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Valid for bookings dining from the festive menu between Wednesday 24th November 2021 and Thursday 9th December 2021.
  2. The offer is for one complimentary drink per person upon arrival.
  3. Guests can choose to enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco, or a pint of Peroni or a soft drink.
  4. The offer is only valid for bookings of 20 or more people dining from the three-course festive menu.
  5. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  6. The offer is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  7. Responsible serviced of alcohol applies.
  8. Manager’s decision is final.
  9. Booking in advance is recommended.

Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine when 4 or more guests dine from the festive menu before Thursday 9th December 2021.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Valid for bookings dining from the festive menu between Wednesday 24th November 2021 and Thursday 9th December 2021.
  2. The offer is only valid for bookings of 4 or more people dining from the three-course festive menu.
  3. The offer is one complimentary bottle of house wine per four people. For groups of 8 guests, the booking will receive two complimentary bottles of house wine for example.
  4. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  5. The offer is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  6. Responsible service of alcohol applies.
  7. Manager’s decision is final.
  8. Booking in advance is recommended.
